What? Mathematica can't animate smooth?

Yes Mathematica can. It is just a series of images and if generated
and played back at the right "frame rate" it will appear very smooth.

CDF or what on your computer might be "pokey". You might want to
Export the series and convert to DVD / mpeg playback format. I think
Mathematica has more than one way to animate. It at least used to
have front-end animation. It has GIF animation.

Teleprompter? They use scrolling text (ie, screensaver) mixed in with
a signal splicer / splitter / merger don't they? And Broadcasting
support? How do you get a password allowing you to send to IP
listeners? They are mostly IP these days aren't they?
