Various hardware, software and time constraints
have slowed down the mailing list, but all now
seems to be in order again. The ftp server had
disks problems but now is operational. Somehow
the mailer software got corrupted but our local
mail guru fixed it. I have been out of town
most of August. The archives will be updated
in the next few weeks and some new packages will
be installed. I will send a message to the list
when I have that completed.

I strongly urge you to submit packages, functions,
nice graphics or other Mathematica good stuff for
archiving.

Mathematica is now at level 1.2 with some nice new
features in the front end on the Mac and NeXT versions
and some significant additions and fixes. I urge
those of you using older versions to upgrade.

There are now nearly 400 sites or persons on the list
and I am sure many of you have interesting programs or
comments. Please help to make the list active.
