Here is a simple question concerning printing Mma graphics from a Mac. On
the screen I have complete control over the font and style of text included
in Plot statements (axes labels and extra text that I specify through
Prolog or Epilog commands). Moreover, if I resize the graphics on the
screen, the text pleasantly resizes itself as well.
Unfortunately when I print (from a IIci to a LaserWriter NT) I lose all
control of the font and its style: all text prints in some Geneva-like
default font (I can live with that...although not happily...) and its size
is unaffected by screen resizing of the graphics (this I find very
difficult to live with...). Even worse, "special" characters do not print
correctly---"Pi" (Option p) looks great on the screen, but the character
which is printed looks like a subscript double quote mark.
I must be overlooking something (and revealing my ignorance by asking the
question). Can somebody tell me how to handle this problem?
