from: cfleming at alleg.edu (Chuck Fleming) Greetings from Allegheny College, We have added several new features to Workbench. The latest version, 3.00, is now available via anonymous ftp from pellns.alleg.edu (141.195.5.200). You can find it in /pub/3.0/Workbench and /pub/3.0/Workbench/Source. If you did not see our earlier announcement, Workbench is a general framework for doing calculations and data analysis. It allows resources (such as connectors to Mathematica and Improv) and tools to be loaded dynamically. See the file Workbench.README for more details. Here is a list of the new features in version 3.00. Tools are now displayed in a scroll view Multiple tools can be dragged-and-dropped into the tool scroll view Data files (ascii) can be dragged into the input text Data files can be loaded into the input text using the menu Data appearing in the output text can be saved to a file Input, output and graphs can be printed Input and output windows are resizable Regards, Chuck cfleming at alleg.edu Senior Applications Developer Allegheny College P.S. If you wish to modify the source, you'll need to grab our FileSaverAndRetriever palette. This palette is also available on pellns in /pub/3.0/Palettes.
