how to simplify Log[E^(2/3 x^(3/2))] ?

Hi,
	Can somebody tell me why

	Log[y E^(2/3 x^(3/2))]

cannot be simplified by using Simplify[]?

I also tried

Log[y E^(2/3 x^(3/2))]/.Log[x_ E^(y_)]->Log[x] y

It did not work either.

Thanks for any info.

Richard
