Hi, 

the following should work:

Display["!psfix -land > file.eps", mathematica_graphics]. Say,

In[1] :=  graph = Plot[Sin[x], {x, 0, 3 Pi//N}]

In[2] :=  Display["!psfix -land > sin.eps", graph].

File "sin.eps" created this way will be printable itself as well as
through latex
environment....   Display["!psfix -land -epsf > sin.eps", graph] will
produce 
output printable only via latex.
