Apple purchase of NeXT

Since Apple is going to use pieces of NeXTOS in MacOS 8, I'd like to know
what is the status of MMA on NeXTOS. Is version 3 available for it? IS it
well supported?

BTW:What do NeXT users think of Apples aquisition of NeXT?
