Wolfram Research Technical Support has had no reports of any 
such problems.

In fact, the one person here who demonstrates Mathematica more
than anyone else, does so on a 5300 which has a 603e processor. 
He does not usually use either virtual memory or RAM Doubler, 
even though both also work fine on this machine.
