BOOK ADVERTISEMENT: Experiments in Undergraduate Mathematics

The book "Experiments in Undergraduate Mathematics: A
Mathematica-based Approach" has just been published by Imperial
College Press.

The book covers the mathematical topics studied, in Britain, in
secondary school and first year of university. In North American
terms, it is suitable for freshman calculus. No previous
experience with Mathematica is assumed.

* Functions & Graphs
* Trigonometry
* Sequences
* Calculus - Differentiation, Integration, Series
* Vectors and Matrices
* Complex Numbers

The book uses specially-written Mathematica functions. These may
be freely downloaded from
