Importing formulas in Word with acceptable display & printing resolution

Thanks to "Jens" for his help, I found the way to export the Mathematica
3.0 formulas into Word graphics with good resolution:

Put in the notebook (or any notebook) the line:
SetOptions[Display,ImageResolution->600] and execute it. Next export
the notebook to HTML.
Then use PaintShopPro to convert the .GIF images of the formulas to .TIF
images and import those images into your word document where you want
it. Then adjust the size of the pictures (to 19% of original with font
11p does it for me).

I still don't know how to adjust the size of the pictures while
decreasing there measures to view them in a browser.
