I uncheck the "fix problems automatically" and have to tell it to ignore the long file names and continue. So, scandisk works. It checks the drive for errors. It requires some manual button clicking. Is this "improper"? I only play devils advocate here to point out how hard it is to convince a software manufacturer that they have a real bug on items when it boils down to preference or convenience.
