I'm a student and our class is planning to put up a telephone math
support group to fellow students. We're planning to purchase
Mathematica for Windows 95 to help students having difficulties in Math
via telephone support. We're planning to use Mathematica's Calculator
as a quick way to solve mathematical problems. Student having problems
in Algebra, Trigonometry, Statistics and Calculus can call us via
telephone and we could assist them by teaching them the step-bystep
solution to their math problems or asignments.

My questions are:
    1. Should we buy the Professional Edition, Student Edition or the
Teacher's Edition? The price difference of the professional edition
and the teacher's edition is quite significant and it may be overkill
for the purpose we are planning.

    2. Can anybody point out the features that are present and not
present in each of the three versions?

    3. When using the Mathematica Calculator, will it automatically
show the answer to a mathematical question or also display the solution
step by step. Is this feature present or should we but some add-on
products.

    4. If Mathematica is not the software for our purpose, could anyone
please suggest any other mathematical software.

Thanks in advance.
