Is there a package or procedure for doing symbolic matrix manipulations
in Mathematica? Specifically, I'm looking for a way to prevent symbols
from commuting, ie (a b) != (b a), and forcing inverse function calls,
inv(a) instead of /a, when solving algebraic equations. Sub matrix
partitioning would be nice to...
Thanks,
