my apologies if this was asked before, but i couldn't find it on the
mathgroup search engine.
i have a piecewise vector function of rho and phi, with components in the
rho hat and phi hat directions.
can i plot the vector field as-is, or do i really need to convert the
components and unit vectors to cartesian?
thanks!
pete
