Cant reinstall!

A severe crash forced me to reinstall windows and all my programs. Mathematica 3.0 won't reinstall! The install program tells me that 'my password is not valid for my system configuration'... It is the same computer! What can I have done wrong? (Of course I double-checked the password) Thanks a lot for advice! -- Daniel CLEMENT
