When you have solved that problem you may get to a closely related
problem that I have found which is that the graphs which I import into
my Latex or rather pdfLaTeX will not display the degree symbol
correctly. It seems as though Mathematica thinks that the symbol should
be Times-Roman code 241 but that displays after distiller as an upside
down exclamation mark.
Any views on sorting out would be most welcome.
