Adalbert- right click and select Paste As -> Plain Text (or use the Edit menu). -matt Adalbert Hanssen <hanssen at Zeiss.de> on 06/21/2000 11:01:46 PM Subject: [mg24082] [mg24053] Appearance of Pasted Text in Input Cells Hi, all every time, I copy and paste a Mathematica expression from Lotus Notes (e.g. an expression from a contribution in this group) to a Mathematica notebook, the pasted text appears tiny. I looked at Format > Font, Format > Face and Format > Size: according to this, the pasted text is bold CourierNew 12 pt, but it looks as if it is plain CourierNew 10 pt . Magnification is of course 100%. The cell Style is "Input", it is displayed in StandardForm. I have to use Format > RemoveOptions [Recursive] to get the appearance, I want. What must I do, that any text I paste into a Mathematica notebook is rightaway displayed as if I had typed it in alltogether, without the necessity to use RemoveOptions[Recursive]? sincerely A.
