X keyboard mapping depends on general X* files or on a user-specific
Xmodmap file (~/.Xmodmap).
The Linux FrontEnd Help Browser lets see you examine how Mathematica uses this
keyboard mapping, but you cannot edit it within Mathematica.

Also note that the NumLock and ScrollLock keys affect the FrontEnd behaviour.
