[snip] This may not be at all relevant, but I ran into a similar problem with a FORTRAN system (Absoft) that suddenly started to issue that kind of message on April 1, on a Windows ME system. The company's tech support sent me documentation on a known Microsoft C library bug that gives times that are off by 1 hour for the first week of daylight savings time. Sure enough, the problem disappeared exactly one week later. Good luck! Stu Schaffner, not speaking for The MITRE Corp.
