Penny and coin data points

The article "Mathematica Version 4" in The Mathematica Journal
7:4(2000), p. 502, uses a penny as a demo. The paper "Coin
Topographies" in TMJ 6:3 (Summer 1996) shows several other coins, but
the FTP site referenced for the data points is no longer valid, and
the author has said he can't put his hands on a backup of the data
points.

I would like to get those data points for coins....
