problem with mathematica 4.0 and office XP

HI

I use mathematica 4.0 and MS office XP . When I have to do a report in
something computing which I do in Mathematica I copy all computing in
mathematica and paste to Word XP . And then I do my report , but when I
shutdown mathematica and still  have opened Word XP document all become
incorrectly and Word XP show me errors and strange sings . What I have to do
?
