A question on machine numbers

Which if any platforms running Mathematica 
version 3 or 4 return something different for 
the following input.

In[1]:=
  {N[2^-52] === $MachineEpsilon,
   N[2^-1022] === $MinMachineNumber,
   N[2^1024] === $MaxMachineNumber}

Out[1]=
  {True, True, True}

I understand this is the 
case for double precision on any computer which 
uses IEEE 754 floating point arithmetic.
