Try this,

ParametricPlot3D[ {Sin[v]Cos[u], Sin[v]Sin[u], Cos[v]}, {u, 0, 2Pi}, {v, 0,
    Pi}, PlotPoints -> 50,
  DisplayFunction -> ($DisplayFunction[Insert[#, EdgeForm[], {1, 1}]] &)]
