I saw a presentation on it at the University of Nebraska at Omaha in
1982, in a math department seminar. There may be a faculty member there
that you should talk to.

All,
I'm using Mathematica to model energy consumption in chicken farms given
basic data. Then I'm planning to use regression -BUT- before I do I wanted to
check in with the gurus.
Normally, energy consumption is a function of Heating/Cooling Degree Days and
I'd like to hear if someone believes this is NOT the case here.
Has anyone developed a purely mathematical model based on radiant, convective
and conductive heat transfer? I'd rather not take the regression approach if
I can get a theoretical model instead.
Thanks!
