Dear Colleagues, in a tiny paper of four pages which I made with the StyleSheet Classroom the page breaks were nonsensical. Hence, I used the OptionInspector to switch of all Automatic page breaks and inserted them manually and successfully above/below the cells where a new page should begin. There was and is however one recalcitrant page break in the middle of page two that withstands all my attempts at deleting it! - Printer settings &c. &c. are all perfect and page breaking works fine and Automatic(ally) with the DefaultStyleSheet.
