For what it's worth, here is a list of new options and option values in 5.0. The list is fairly complete, at least in terms of what's shown in the Options Inspector. Actually, I'm comparing to 4.1, so some of this may have existed in 4.2. * New (undocumented) notebook option: Saveable. (Bravo!! Now you can make windows that can be dismissed without the Save Changes dialog.) * New global message option: InsufficientVersionWarning. (It's about time, although it's useless until 5.1 comes out.) * New window properties option: VerticalScrollRange. * New (undocumented) system configuration option: VersionedPreferences. Does anybody know what this is about? * New graphics rendering option: RenderSystemColors. * New (undocumented) button styles: RefGuideLinkText, DemosLink, TourLink, MasterIndexLink. * New (undocumented) button frames: Tab and ActiveTab. ----- Selwyn Hollis http://www.math.armstrong.edu/faculty/hollis
