Hi,

Windows Mathematica versions allow to import images
as MetaFile and these images are not protable between
different plattforms becaus the Windows-specific 
renderengine for windows Meta-files is used.

You should force thimport in a different format
than a Meta-file. Export PostScript and use
pstoedit should help.
