MathOptimizer Professional:
An Advanced Nonlinear Optimization Engine for Mathematica
MathOptimizer Professional (MOP) for Mathematica, with an LGO solver
link, has been released.
This product combines the modeling power of Mathematica with the
established LGO solver suite. This results in a solver functionality and
speed that is comparable to other (compiler-based or modeling language
related) implementations.
LGO enables the solution of constrained global and convex optimization
problems, under very general conditions. LGO has been in use since over
a decade, and it is currently available for professional C and Fortran
compiler platforms, as well as for Excel, and for the GAMS modeling
language.
MathOptimizer Professional relies on Mathematica and makes use of an
external compiler. We recommend Microsoft Visual C/C++, or Lahey
Fortran 95 (both of which have been tested for compatiblity). Customizations
for other professional C and Fortran compilers can also be made available.
MOP is offered for professional/commercial, research, and educational use.
The software is accompanied by an extensive (over 100 pages, when printed)
User Guide that can be directly invoked through Mathematica's help system.
MathOptimizer Professional development and support:
