Dear Mathgroup,
this is a short announcement of my latest Application Package MathXLS:

MathXLS is a platform-independent Mathematica (4.0, 4.1, 4.2) package
for importing native multi-sheet .xls (Excel, OpenOffice) files into
Mathematica and for exporting matrix data from Mathematica to .xls files.

Find more information, examples, current limitations,
and a trial version please visit:
http://www.mathxls.com

Regards,

Rolf Mertig
