GCD of a list of polynomial coefficient

Dear Friends,

I wand to get a GCD of a list of polynomial coefficients but
had no luck, i.e. p[x]=5x+10, k=CoefficientList[p[x],x]={5,10},
GCD[k]={5,10}. No result. I cant remove the curly braces from
GCD[{...}] in order GCD to work. please help
