Large deformations in plane elasticity. Tensor of tensions at plane
with elliptical hole, forces at infinity. Because of huge formulas my
program is VERY slow, half a day.
Did you first solve the linear case with circular hole? Is the time
taken more due to inclusion of geometrical non-linearity? Is the
material isotropic or St.Venant type? Please send details of the
Stress function, whether plane stress/strain , PDEs, compatibility
conditions, boundary conditions etc. Using NDSolve should take only a
few seconds.I have not used the tensor package of Mathematica but
believe it should be not too difficult or time consuming.
