I see what you mean! It is not obvious.
I found that the following prescription works:
1. Place the cursor just to the right of the "Data" entry in the first
column of the row you want to delete.
2. Now extend the selection to the right by repeating Shift-(-->) until the
whole row is selected.
3. Hit Delete and there you are.
