Hi,

Refine[b^3, b == 1 || b == 1]

and booleans are *not* 0 or 1

| As anyone run across an approach for simplifying
expressions (mostly
| set operations for reliability cut/path set
analysis) such that b^n =
| b?
|
| Some refer to this operation as a 'boolean'
operation, but I suspect it
| is referred to as something quite different or I
would have found a
| solution in the FAQ by now.
|
| Thanks in advance.
