Convincing Mathematica that Sqrt[a+b]Sqrt[a-b]==Sqrt[a^2+b^2]

Is there a way to convince Mathematica to multiply Sqrt[a+b]Sqrt[a-b] to
produce Sqrt[a^2+b^2]?
