Could you give us more information? What do you mean that you 'have a
3dplot'? Do you mean that you have a plot you made with Mathematica? What
kind of thing are you plotting? Do you have a parametrized surface, or a
surface in the form of f[x,y]?
I think if you give enough information you will get a useful answer.
If you have Mathematica statements in a notebook, you can convert the cells
to InputForm and then copy and paste them into a posting so we can see more
clearly what you have.

Hi,
I have s 3dplot, and I want to take slice at fixed value along the Z
axis. How to do that? I tried using ContourPlot, but the result doesnt
satisfy me. I spend like two days searching for answer in
help/books/google, pls help me :/
P.S. Sorry if I'm asking too common question
