Hello Tom
I am not sure to understand your problem correctly but I propose to
compose a stylesheet based on your features .(this stylesheet can be
changed at every time :look at the menu "Format")
Ask before typing the new cell you enter to respect a certain feature (
take care about the default style "input") with the toolbar on the top
of yor notebook; that way ,you may type text in 12 and Input /outputin
10 as you want .
I am not a specialist with a long experience and must admit that the
making of stylesheets has not
been so easy at the beginning (I complained once to Wolfram for help!)
because changing styles ,lines or anything else is not obviously done
(I lost several times some settings by doing it uncorrectly an had to
reinstall Mathematica completely). So be careful and choose a new
stylesheet with all items untouched .
