TraceDialog

I tried Return[Unevaluated[Abort[]]] to stop a TraceDialog, but it
didn't work. How does one stop a TraceDialog without killing the
kernel or going to the end of the computation? (i.e. how does one
Abort a TraceDialog?)
Thanks,
