Hi mattew,

just found out that you can use graphics instead of colors inside 

ShowLegend. Here is an example:

ShowLegend[g1,{{{Red,"sdsd"},{Graphics[Line[{{0,0},{1,1}}]],"dfdf"}},LegendPosition->{1.1,-.4}}]
