Hi!
I was searching this group for similar problems. The same problem I
have on Windows Vista was also posted for Mathematica under Solaris
but with no solution.
The problem is: even when the MathKernel does not have to perform any
computations it uses 50% of CPU-Time (my CPU is a Athlon64 X2). It
seems that this does not affect the performance of Mathematica itself
but it's just a waste of CPU-power. Does anybody know more about this
issue?
