Hi Murray, you forgot to say that there is the excellent Geometrica Package http://www.wolfram.com/products/applications/geometrica/ by Bruno Autin that work for 2D and 3D -- if one like to spend money .. Anyway the book looks fine and it would be better for the reader if he understand the text and make the Mathematica programming by itself.
