A fun little problem

This is a problem from Wrede's _Introduction to Vector and Tensor Analysis_.
It's not that difficult of a problem - especially since he also provides
the solution, but it is fairly instructive. The notebook is just something
which I thought was a lot of fun to create, and shows what you can do with
a modestly sophisticated geometry problem using Mathematica and
particularly its graphics capabilities. 6.0 makes it even more appealing.
