Hi Dimitris, Version "6.0 for Mac OS X PowerPC (32-bit) (April 20, 2007)" returns the integral unevaluated. By the way, what's the obsession with HoldForm? You can just type this in as Integrate[Sqrt[(1 - x)/((x - 2)*(x^2 - 2*x + 3))], {x, 1, 2}] and it will return the result (or not) right away, without using ReleaseHold. Roman.
