I wonder whether it is possible to use the Implicit Plot command in
conjunction with the FindRoot command for the following type of
problem:

F(x,y1,y2,y3,y4,y5)==0 is an implicit function determining the endogenous
variable x given the parameters y1,y2,y3,y4,y5 (and possible others) that
is,
even though there is no explicit (closed form) solution x(y1,y2,y3,y4,y5)
there is an implicit relationship.

My problem is to produce an implicit plot between the parameters y1 and y2
(where numerical values of the other parameters y3,y4,y5 are specified)given
the implicit solution x(y1,y2,y3,y4,y5), i.e. an implicit plot between y1 and
y2 such that F(x(y1,y2,y3,y4,y5),y1,y2,y3,y4,y5)==0.

The question is whether (or rather, how) the ImplicitPlot-command and the
FindRoot-command can be used in conjunction to solve this type of
problem.

thanks niko
