GridLines takes you to its MS page. For exactly the same reason "plot" can't take you to an MS page because one does not exist. There is one for Plot, Plot3D, ListPlot etc. They are built-in functions. One has to use a little logic even when it is only Mathematica's documentation one is dealing with.
