Evaluating notebooks from other notebooks

Hi,
I was wondering if it is possible to evaluate a notebook, say
"xyz.nb" (without loading it in the front end), from another notebook
(say "root.nb") using some command like:

EvaluateNotebook["xyz.nb", path]
