It has a search facility, and, judging from the above URLs, it probably
worked fine for the purpose arising in this thread.

I have also used Google Groups, and am likewise dismayed by the recent
degradation in searchability (how ironic). Makes me almost wish Usenet was
a regulated utility, at least for archival purposes.
