But it is easy to distinguish both versions

the old one was:
"ReleaseID"/.("Kernel"/.SystemInformation[][[1]])
9.0.0.0 (3825060, 3824640)
"ReleaseID"/.("FrontEnd"/.SystemInformation[][[1]])
9.0.0.0 (3825060, 3825039)

and the new one is
"ReleaseID"/.("Kernel"/.SystemInformation[][[1]])
9.0.0.0 (3868239, 3824640)
"ReleaseID"/.("FrontEnd"/.SystemInformation[][[1]])
9.0.0.0 (3868239, 3825039)
