Hi, Warren > Does anybody know how to integrate or differentiate x!? I know that > there is suppose to be Stirling's formula for approximating x!, but > what would you have to do if you were to integrate such a function? > Thanks for any help. Euler gamma function is the generalization of the x! for non-interger x. It has well-defined properties. In mathematica, ask about Gamma and probably Psi (it is logarithmic derivative of the gamma function) OK ==== [MESSAGE SEPARATOR] ====
