I run Mma 3.0 on a pentium under Win95.  In my experience, none of the 
menu command file conversion routines work satisfactorily with the 
exception of converting a 2.2 notebook to 3.0 (but not back).  The 
Kernel command Display seems to work better, but I have not personally 
tried the html format.
