I am trying to develop a sampled-data representation of a time-varying (in fact periodic) linear system. Is there an easy way to calculate state transition matrices, or fundamental solution matrices in Mathematica? Numerical solutions would be fine (maybe preferable). I need to be able to integrate such solutions and would like to perform the integration on matrices and not have to consider it element by element. Thanks, Dan Cole dcole at vt.edu
